The bucket is a metaphor for our hearts, because our hearts need to be filled like buckets. Mrs. Medina had her Bible class students pick a name of another student in the class. The person whose name was picked didn’t know who had their name, but they eventually found out who had their name. The students wrote compliments on drops to put in the bucket of the person they picked. We are wondering what you do at your schools to make people feel loved and happy? Please share.
We just read The Dog Of Pompeii, by Louis Untermeyer, for our study of “Theme” in literary works. Check out the video on the Blogroll (on the right) to find out more on Mount Vesuvius and the city of Pompeii.
What does it mean to have or show peace in your life? How can we create peace? Can you give an example of when you have felt, shown, created or experienced peace?
