So this week we learned about Ruri in The Bracelet.  Ruri was evacuated from her home in California.  Then we read another story with the same topics.  We also have our new vocabulary words.  So, that is a little bit on this weeks scribe.

On the week in October we did many things. we started reading the bracelet which is about a girl that is Japanese and has to move to a concentration camp beacause of law 9066. Another thing Mrs.Medina’s class was doing is reading a story about what actualy happened on the day when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and killed thousands of troops. The last thing we did but didnt get to finish is the pen pal letters to the foreigners that are from Italy.
That is what we did over the week of October which is the 21-26
