  1. You needn’t be the smartest, coolest, fastest, most beautiful, or most clever to succeed…in fact, those things often just get in the way. Honor the Lord first; respect Him and His Word first. Respect your teacher, yourself, and your peers. Put away foolish distractions, snapchats…ask this or that…insta-envy…and the like. Walk by faith and your eyes will see many wonderful sights. Enjoy, Mr. S

  7. Welcome, 6th Graders! I want to encourage you to be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid to try something new, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Being brave can help you discover your true passions, can help you trust God more and can let you be a leader for others who need you. There is nothing you can do to make God love you less, so step out and be you! I will be cheering for you! – Mrs. Myer

  8. Obey your parents. Do what your teacher says. Read your Bible. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. Talk to classmates that you do not know too well. Be kind. If you do the above, you might survive your first year at MVC.

  9. The secret none of the other teachers will admit is that 6th graders really are the best. You’re so smart, you are creative, you have positive attitudes, and you’re not afraid to be yourselves. I can’t wait to meet you all this year, and I am jealous that your teachers get to see you everyday! P.S. Don’t tell my 7th graders what I said!

  13. Mrs. Medina my class was very exhilarating because I was tired of the heat. It was also tedious because it felt long and I got bored. Also, it was impressionable because it was droopy. Summer also felt languid because I was relaxed a lot for the summer. I had a lavish summer because we went to a hotel then to Six Flags Magic Mountain. All in all summer was great.
