Decade Day! 1960s All Over Again!

This week is Homecoming! For Homecoming Week we celebrate our Mustang spirit! On Monday we dressed up as characters from the Disney movies. Tuesday is Decade Day. By that we mean that we dressed as someone from the 80s or from any other time. Wednesday we dressed in green to support kids at our school with cancer or have been affected by cancer. Thursday we dressed as toddlers. We wore things that a toddler would wear or would like. On Friday, we dressed in our school colors. Go Mustangs! The week ends with an exciting football game and the crowning of the school King and Queen.

  1. These decades were interesting and unique (my opinion). As a consequence of my fascination with style and uniqueness. The most awesome part was their clothing and hairstyle. I think having a day for just 1960’s and back is great idea!

  2. We had a lot of fun. Some people didn’t really dress up, and some people went crazy!!! It was cool seeing all of the other costumes that people have!

  3. That seems to be quite a fun and interesting activity. It also helps other children to know bout people who would have gone before them and also teaching about different cultures.

  4. Decade Day is really interesting and it makes me feel to attend that school. The whole idea of dressing up like someone from the 80’s ,and the homecoming ,is very unique and exciting. In other words ,it is extraordinary.

  5. That looks like great fun. I wish our school would do something like that! Which teacher looked the silliest?!!:)
